We care for the total man-spirit, soul and body. We organize trainings, seminars, and projects. We assess felt needs of communities and assist in providing infrastructure that we can afford. We also train local communities on how to maintain projects at their locations. We encourage expression of local creativity by providing financial support towards commercializing local crafts and increased production of food.
Education is key to power, knowledge and progress. We encourage those we serve to fulfill their God-given potentials. We have established a process by which brilliant, but disadvantaged and poor students will not have to let their dreams die. We provide scholarships to deserving students to college level, and assist in the placement of students at colleges that have low tuition, or with programs that cater for the needy.
Unwanted and teen pregnancies are on the rise. People involved are hardly prepared to parent the children or take any responsibility. We will not allow children dumping, and neglect. Our ministry runs orphanages where we raise children on Bible principles. In conjunction with social welfare and other relevant government departments, we provide feeding, clothing, housing and mentoring for abandoned children that we take into the orphanages.
As a charitable organization, our continued operations are heavily dependent on the donations of our benefactors – individuals that very well may include you! Children in poverty are more likely to be exposed to the stress of violence, gangs and drugs. This can negatively affect brain development and long-term well-being. Your support during this vulnerable time helps children and youth set their own goals to build a life free from poverty.
When you sponsor a child, you create a powerful multiplier effect. You help them see beyond the daily struggles of life in poverty. Your support releases them from a cycle of short-term decisions and helps them gain the ability to begin contributing to their own families and communities
Growing up in poverty, children face tough challenges: hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and medical services, social discrimination and isolation. But with support from people like you, we can help children get the health care, education, life skills, job-readiness training and confidence they need to create lasting change in their lives and communities. Together, we can end poverty for good.
